Donations are always welcome. Many of the things we do at The Cowley Club don’t make much money and we wouldn’t want them to, that’s not the point of the place. If we get donations it means we have more flexibility to do the stuff we want rather than the stuff the finances dictate. So, whether you want to give us a one off donation or set up a standing order it will be greatly appreciated.

Crowdfunding

We've run two successful crodfunding campaigns, our first in 2019, and the most recent in 2021.

Both exceeded their target and have enabled us to make much needed emergency repairs to our dilapidated building in 2019, and invest in resources to make the club more accessible, and to make it through the Covid-19 pandemic to continue operating.

Loanstock

We are not currently taking on any loanstock investments, when we open this up, we will advertise it here.

What is Loanstock?

As a registered Industrial and Provident Society, The Cowley Club Co-operative is able to advertise and issue loanstock to the public. Individuals and organisations can invest directly in the club, and we can offer interest on their loans. Investors can choose their rate of interest between 0%-3%. Loanstock certificates are issued to the investors and interest is added at the end of each year in the form of further loanstock, and is payable in full at the end of a five year period.
