A very unusual and super exciting Brighton book launch with a special guest Jenni From London Bike Kitchen.
As a part of our rather fine looking Vegan Octoberfest in order to top up all the fun of ale sipping, wild dancing, cake munching and roast scoffing we invited Jenni to co e and talk about her new book “How to build a bike” , cycling, engaging with community, feminism and DIY and probably many other things knowing how amazingly chatty and inspiring that velo lady is indeed.
Please invite friends and help us spread the word. All are welcome. Whether keen lycra gang folk or just occasional cyclists or commuters. Even if you don’t have a bike ATM and don’t consider yourself a below enthusiast I’m sure our little chat with t bore you to death with all the specs and bike shop macho jargon but rather enthuse you to give cycling a go at some point.
“Jenni Gwiazdowski is the founder and director of the not-for-profit London Bike Kitchen. She opened the DIY workshop in March 2012 after finding there was nowhere she could go to learn how to build a bike. LBK merges her two loves of teaching and bicycles, and she has helped thousands of people on to two wheels. How to Build a Bicycle is a culmination of 5 years of experimenting and tweaking the Build Your Own Bike (BYOB) course at LBK.”
On the day the Hunt Sabs will be serving scrumptious Sunday roast from about 1pm ISH till it runs out so you might wanna come earlier and grab a lovely plateful of vegan treats or try some local ales or ciders which there will be plenty of to sample.
