Fundraiser for anti-coal protectors

9th February 2019 @ 18:00 – 10th February 2019 @ 00:00

On 14 November, 8 land defenders (including a wonderful Brightonian) who took direct action to stop Banks Group from opening a new opencast coal-mine in County Durham were found guilty and fined £8,323 for doing the right thing.

That’s why we are joining together for an evening of delicious food and great music and performance to stand in solidarity with the land defenders and the locals of Pont Valley to support them with their hefty fines.

Pay OTD, suggested donation of £6 for food and £4 for music and performance, or whatever you can afford.
